microwave brownies from scratch

Microwave Brownies

1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/3 cup baking cocoa
3/4 cup flour
2 teaspoons vanilla

Place butter in a 8"x8" baking pan, microwave on high for 1 minute, or until butter is melted. Carefully pour butter into the batter bowl. Set baking dish aside. Add to batter bowl, sugar, eggs and cocoa to the melted butter; mix well with a wooden soon. Add flour and vanilla, mix well. Pour batter into baking pan. Cover with paper towel and microwave on high 5-7 minutes or until toothpick placed in center comes out clean. Rotate dish after 3 minutes for more even baking.
